Danny Mcaskill - the way of live

Danny MacAskill, also known as 'Taggart' and 'Danny MegaSkill', is a Scottish street trials pro rider for Inspired Bicycles Ltd.^[1] He released 'April 2009', a five-and-a-half-minute street trials video, filmed by his flatmate Dave Sowerby, on YouTube on the 19th April 2009. The video quickly gained popular acclaim and widespread media attention. The video features stunts performed by MacAskill set to 'The Funeral' by Band of Horses.^[2]

As of April 2009, MacAskill, a twenty-three year old who was brought up in Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye,^[3] had been practising for more than 12 years. He gave up his job as a mechanic so he could ride full time.^[2] He now lives in Edinburgh.^[4] In June 2009, MacAskill appeared in the music video for Doves' single "Winter Hill".^[5] MacAskill also appeared in a TV-commercial for the new Volkswagen Golf Estate.^[6]

On 16th November 2010 MacAskill released a new video "Way back home" sponsored by Red Bull. The video showcases locations around Scotland including Edinburgh Castle, North Berwick, wartime bunkers on the island of Inchgarvie beneath the Forth Bridge and a hydro-electric power station in the Scottish Highlands. ^[7]

Thomas Matthew DeLonge, Jr. (lahir 13 Desember 1975; umur 34 tahun; lebih dikenal dengan nama Tom DeLonge) adalah seorang musisiyang berasal dari Amerika Serikat dan juga seorang gitaris/vokalis untuk grup musik Blink-182 selama tahun 1992-2005. Setelah keluar dari Blink-182, ia membentuk grup musik Angels & Airwaves bersama mantan anggota Hazen Street, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring danRocket From the Crypt.

Tom adalah anak kedua dari tiga bersaudara. Kakak tirinya bernama Shon Kitchen dan adiknya bernama Kari. Ibunya bernama Connie.

Ketika Mark berumur 15 tahun, ia mendapatkan bass pertamanya sebagai hadiah ulang tahun dari ayahnya. Mark belajar bass dengan cara otodidak. Pada bulan Agustus 1992, adik Mark yang bernama Anne memperkenalkannya pada Tom DeLonge.
Pada tahun 1992, Mark dan Tom bertemu dengan Scott Raynor. Lalu mereka bertiga sepakat untuk membuat grup musik yang dinamakan Blink-182.
Pada tahun 1996, Scott Raynor terkena penyakit yang disebabkan oleh minuman keras. Scott harus keluar dari Blink-182 untuk menjalani rehabilitasi. Scott keluar pada tahun 1997 setelah Blink-182 merilis album Dude Ranch.

Pada tahun 1997, Blink-182 melakukan tur bersama The Aquabats. Di situ mereka bertemu dengan Travis Barker, drummer untuk The Aquabats. Mereka menawarkan Travis untuk menjadi drummer di band Blink-182 dan Travis pun menerima tawarannya.
Pada Februari 2005, Blink-182 bubar. Mark dan Travis membuat band yang alirannya tidak jauh beda dengan Blink-182, bersama Shane Gallagher dan Craig Fairbaugh. Band itu diberi nama +44.
Bantuan ke band lain
Mark pernah bernyanyi sebagai vokal latar pada lagu MxPx yang berjudul "Wrecking Hotel Room" dalam album "Panic". Dan lagu "Empire" untuk soundtrack The Passion of The Christ. Mark juga membantu Simple Plan untuk lagu "I'd Do Anything" dalam album "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls".

Keluarga

Mark menikah dengan Skye Everly pada 2 Desember, 2000. Mark mempunyai anak yang bernama Jack Hoppus yang lahir pada 5 Agustus 2002. Mark tinggal di Los Angels dan dengan studio yang merekam album +44.

SEJARAH BLINK

Terbentuknya Blink-182

Blink-182 dibentuk oleh Tom DeLonge (vokal dan gitar) dan Mark Hoppus (vokal dan bass). Setelah itu masuklah Scott Raynor sebagai drummer. Blink-182 sebelumnya dinamakan Blink, tetapi sudah ada grup musik beraliran pop asal Irlandia yang bernama Blink. Mereka pun menambahkan angka 182, yang diambil dari judul film Turk! 182.
Pada tahun 1998, Scott keluar dari Blink-182 dan digantikan oleh Travis Barker.



Tahun 1992-1993

Blink-182 merekam demo pertama mereka, flyswatter, di kamar Scott pada bulan Mei, 1993.
Pada tahun yang sama, mereka merekam demo lagi, tetapi kali ini tidak dinamakan. Demo ini dikenal dengan nama 2nd Demo (Demo Kedua). Pada demo kedua ini, terdapat beberapa lagu dari borok dan gudig yang direkam ulang, dan beberapa lagu baru yang setelah itu dirilis dalam album kung fu records. Album Buddha ini dirilis dalam bentuk kaset pada tahun 1993. Sekitar 1,000 kaset diproduksi oleh perusahaan Filter Records. Pada tahun 1998, kung fu records dirilis ulang dengan daftar urutan trek yang berbeda.
